SUPPORT OUR MISSION
We expand protected areas, support ecological research, and empower the public to become stewards and advocates for the natural world.
GRANT GUIDELINES
At this time, March Conservation Fund does not accept unsolicited proposals.
In 2015, we launched the Latin American Reserve Stewardship Initiative (LARSI) for organizations working in land preservation and stewardship in Latin America. Our grants will address operational goals and strengthen the internal capacity of organizations to do important conservation work. This initiative is a partnership of March Conservation Fund and American Bird Conservancy .
Only invited organizations may apply for LARSI grants at this time. In subsequent years, we anticipate that this initiative will expand to other non-governmental organizations that focus on land acquisition and stewardship in Latin America. For residents of Latin America, Africa, East Asia, and the Middle East there are additional opportunities to receive support from MCF for research that relates to threatened bird species. We have partnered with four British charities, Neotropical Bird Club, the African Bird Club, and the Oriental Bird Club, and the Ornithological Society of the Middle East to provide small grants to researchers for studies on threatened bird species and related ecological or socio-economic factors that affect bird populations.
Please see the respective links for those organizations to find out how to apply.
